Previous Workshops

Our workshop is a continuation of several previous ones on similar topics:

• The 1^st Scholarly Document Processing workshop, which was held on November 19, 2020, at EMNLP 2020.
• The 2^nd Scholarly Document Processing workshop, which was held on June 10, 2021, at NAACL 2021.
• The 3^rd Scholarly Document Processing workshop, which was held on October 17, 2022, at COLING 2022.
• The 1^st SciNLP workshop, which was held on June 25, 2020, at AKBC 2020.
• The 2^nd SciNLP workshop, which was held on October 1, 2021, at AKBC 2021.

The first instance of SDP (SDP 2020) brought together two previous workshops focused on processing scientific documents:

• The Bibliometric-enhanced Information Retrieval and Natural Language Processing for Digital Libraries workshop (BIRNDL), that has been running since 2016.
• The Workshop on Mining Scientific Publications (WOSP), that has been running since 2012.
